Thesis Synopsis is an essential document that a Post Graduate (PG) Health care student has to submit to the certifying University or Board for approval to start their mandatory dissertation. A thesis or dissertation can start only after approval from the University or Board is received.

Writing an effective thesis synopsis provides all the relevant information about the thesis in a precise, well defined, and concise manner to the certifying authority. Dr Praveen Nirmalan

Dr. Praveen Nirmalan trained as an ophthalmologist & Vitreoretinal surgeon and subsequently completed his Masters in Public Health and a Public Health Ophthalmology Fellowship from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, USA. Dr. Praveen has worked in clinical and public health at some of the top tier institutes in India. He has been a team leader and member of community-based and clinical research in several medical disciplines including Ophthalmology, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Neonatology, Obstetric Anesthesia, and Critical Care and Public Health. He has developed and chaired Ethics Committees at several institutes. Dr. Praveen has been a clinical and public health research mentor for practicing clinicians and has also mentored over 200 MD, DNB, and Ph.D. students through their dissertation work and research methods. He has been part of several international studies bringing his expertise in epidemiology and biostatistics to the teams he has worked with. He has over 80 published scientific articles to his credit.

Dr Rijo Mathew Choorakuttil

Dr. Rijo Mathew is a practicing Radiologist who has completed his MD Radiology from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, and A Senior Registrarship from Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai. A passionate educator and innovative entrepreneur, Dr. Rijo Mathew is a Member, Scientific Advisory Committee, IRIA, Member in Charge of Ultrasound, Career Assurance Program, IRIA, & In Charge, National Fetal Radiology CME Programs of IRIA.

Dr. Rijo is the National Chairperson for Samrakshan, an IRIA program that aims to reduce perinatal mortality in India. He is the Founder Member of KREST Kochi, a well-known name all over India for high-quality Radiology Education. He was also the Subspecialty Head of Fetal Radiology, ICRI, from 2018-2020. Dr. Rijo has several clinical practice-based innovations to his credit including a new classification system for the diagnostic assessment of Fetuses as well as a new sign-in Penile Doppler assessment.

Dr Sharon Baisil

Dr. Sharon Baisil is a community medicine specialist, known for creating innovative technologies for the prevention of non-communicable diseases. His evidence-based android apps on diabetes and deaf rehabilitation have received international awards from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Healthline. He is actively involved in postgraduate mentoring and is the creator of the largest PG group in India. He is also well known for developing the 'Psychiatry Hub' and 'Community Medicine Hub' apps, which are popular reference materials among postgraduate students all over India.
